We are pleased to offer our Member Clubs an innovative way to streamline their workload and at the same time add to their membership roster and revenue stream. The TGA’s new Online Join Renew feature makes it quick and easy for golfers to now sign up and pay for their GHIN/TGA memberships entirely online.
With the Online Join Renew feature (OJR), the TGA provides clubs with new technology that automates the enrollment process for all golfers. This new application will make it much easier for golf shop staff to maintain the club’s GHIN roster, access golfer information, collect data for marketing and much more.
TOP FIVE BENEFITS FOR MEMBER CLUBS USING ONLINE JOIN RENEW SYSTEM:
BENEFIT #1: It’s EASY and INSTANT
When golfers are searching for a nearby public facility to join, they want the experience to be easy, accessible, and welcoming. With TGA OJR, golfers can go online, search for the perfect course in their area and instantly sign up for membership.
BENEFIT #2: Fully AUTOMATED
Participating Member Clubs are provided their own unique URL and QR code for their golfers to use. When golfers select their club, the TGA OJR automatically collects payment, assigns them a GHIN number, sets the “inactivation” date in GHIN and adds them to the club’s membership roster. The sign up process also allows golfers to preselect automatic renewal, which is a great feature for membership retention.
BENEFIT #3: Constant COMMUNICATION
The TGA OJR system automatically sends a “welcome” email to the golfer. The email includes their new GHIN number, your club’s contact information, list of TGA benefits, and how and where to post scores. In addition, TGA OJR automatically emails club staff that a new golfer has signed up, paid and been added to their club’s roster.
BENEFIT #4: Provides PRICING FLEXIBILITY
TGA OJR allows Member Clubs the flexibility to charge golfers whatever amount the club wants for annual GHIN/TGA membership dues.
BENEFIT #5: Earn REBATES
Clubs charging more than the TGA applies to its Member Clubs for per player rates means the club can earn money back.
Chances are things are a bit hectic in the golf shop with the many, many important tasks that must be performed each day. TGA OJR can help ease some of the workload and keep important membership information organized. Want to know who has been added to the membership roster recently? Simple. Want to know when their TGA/GHIN membership expires? Simple. With the click of a button, you can find out and organize your new (or returning) member’s information.
If your club is interested in participating in TGA OJR or have questions about the system, please contact Mary Harrison, the TGA’s Senior Director of Handicapping & Membership, at (214) 468-8942.
