Mansfield – After two days of playing the Chapman style format, Melissa Loh and Nancy Beck, both from Dallas, shot 72-72-144 and were the overall champions of the 2018 Women’s Texas Pinehurst at Walnut Creek Country Club.
Winning the first flight in a scorecard playoff, Jan Rapp of Dallas and Camry Tardy of Arlington, shot 74-71-145. Right behind them is last years’ winners Marian Barker of Lubbock and Joanna Davis of Georgetown, shooting 71-74-145.
In the second flight, Sherri Buster of Westlake and Kimberly Little of Houston held onto their first place lead and shot 76-71-147 to take first place. Olivia Campbell of Franklin and Becky Gustamante of Montgomery also held onto their lead in the third flight winning by 5 and shot 81-80-161.
The fourth flight winners are Sun Scannell of Spring and Paweena Bennett of Tomball. They shot 88-81-169. In the fifth flight, playing their home course, Julie Owens and Myndee Billingsley both from Mansfield, won the flight shooting 80-89-169.
